For me, connection is everything. As a lifestyle photographer, I believe the magic really starts with the relationship between photographer and subject — and that means building real trust. Not just with the person in front of my lens, but with everyone I collaborate with. The best productions have a way of sneaking up on you: somewhere along the way, it stops feeling like work and starts feeling like a group of friends just hanging out and creating something beautiful together.
Outside work, I’m a mother and a partner–where fostering connection is a daily practice. When the camera is tucked away, I am quick to recharge in the world’s wild and natural places, even if that happens to be in the pine trees and hills of my own backyard.
